Fee Description:

This executive short course equips officials responsible for youth affairs and community development with advanced knowledge and practical skills to drive youth socio‑economic transformation. Participants will explore Tanzania’s policy and legal frameworks, apply strategic approaches to youth empowerment, and promote inclusive governance that ensures meaningful youth participation in decision‑making. The course emphasizes programme design and implementation, youth mobilisation, stakeholder engagement, and alignment of initiatives with national development strategies, including Tanzania DIRA 2050.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

i. Understand the policy and legal framework for youth development in Tanzania.

ii. Apply strategic approaches to youth empowerment and socio-economic development.

iii. Promote inclusive governance and meaningful youth participation in decision-making.

iv. Design and implement youth development programmes effectively.

v. Strengthen skills in youth mobilisation, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach.

vi. Align youth development initiatives with national development strategies and Tanzania DIRA 2050.
